TEXPRIM
Privacy policy

Who is responsible?
Texprim management is responsible for protecting personal information. For a question, complaint or privacy request, email info@texprim.ca or write to Texprim, 4388 Rue Saint-Denis, Suite 200 #856, Montréal QC H2J 2L1, Canada.
Information collected and why
Depending on how you use our services, we collect your name, business, email, phone number, addresses, product selections, artwork and communications with Texprim. We use this information to prepare quotes, manage your account, process payments and orders, produce and deliver products, answer requests and handle claims.
Website services also process technical information needed for access and security, such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, session identifiers and technical events. Do not submit identity documents, payment card numbers or sensitive information in comments or artwork. You are not automatically subscribed to promotional emails.
Payments and access to information
Stripe collects payment information on its secure checkout page. Texprim receives transaction references and status information needed for order tracking and accounting; the shop’s forms do not collect your full card number or security code.
Orders and files are accessible only to the relevant customer and authorized staff according to their roles. Website files are kept in private storage; passing a malware scan does not approve them for printing. Information needed for manufacturing or delivery may be shared with the relevant printers, suppliers and carriers.
Services we use
Netlify hosts the website and runs its functions. Supabase handles account authentication, the database and private file storage. Stripe processes payments. Resend sends transactional emails and quote requests; business correspondence is accessed through services including Gmail. Cloudflare Turnstile checks certain requests to prevent abuse.
Cloudmersive receives the contents of files uploaded to the shop to scan them for malware. Files may themselves contain personal information. The website’s scanning mechanism does not separately send your order number or contact details to this service. The provider states that its stateless processing APIs do not retain payloads after the transaction; Texprim has not independently verified that statement.
WeTransfer is an optional way to send files, particularly files exceeding the website upload limit. If you use it, WeTransfer processes the files and transfer details according to its service and privacy policy. Invoicing and recordkeeping may also involve Texprim’s accounting service, including Momenteo when used for your order.
Processing outside Quebec
Some providers and their subprocessors may process, host or access information outside Quebec, including outside Canada. Hosting one part of the service in Canada does not mean that all processing remains in Canada.
Texprim must assess the risks and safeguards applicable to these disclosures and limit information shared to what is necessary. This policy does not claim that all services are hosted in Quebec or that access from abroad is impossible.
Retention periods
Artwork files are kept for 12 months after the order is completed, then deleted. This supports follow-up and reprints; it does not guarantee that a file can be reused without review. You may request earlier deletion when keeping it is no longer necessary.
A customer account is kept while it is being used. After 3 years of inactivity, it is deleted without a prior warning email. You may also request deletion at info@texprim.ca. Deleting an account does not delete records that Texprim must retain separately to meet legal obligations.
Invoices, transaction information and necessary accounting records are retained according to applicable requirements, generally for at least 6 years after the end of the relevant tax year. Quote requests that do not lead to an order are retained for no more than 12 months after the last business correspondence, unless an obligation justifies a different period.
A legal obligation, dispute or ongoing claim may justify keeping only the necessary information longer, with restricted access. Technical security data is kept according to its usefulness and applicable obligations. Backup copies must follow their deletion cycle and must not reintroduce deleted information into active systems.
Cookies and information in your browser
The shop uses essential mechanisms for authentication, security and ordering. Product configurations remain in the browser cart for 5 days after the last change. Checkout contact details stay temporarily in the tab for up to 24 hours and are cleared from that draft after payment confirmation.
Files selected on a product page are temporarily stored in this browser to accompany the order. They remain available for 24 hours and are removed from that draft after successful transfer. Expired data may remain on the device until the site is used again or browser storage is cleared. Avoid keeping confidential files on shared devices.
Account sessions use a security cookie lasting up to 8 hours; some verification flows use shorter-lived cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile processes the technical information needed for its checks. The shop’s code does not add advertising cookies. You may clear local data in your browser, which may remove the cart or end your session.
Your rights and choices
You may request access to your information, corrections, withdrawal of consent or deletion, subject to applicable requirements. Where required by law, you may also request a copy of information in a structured, commonly used technological format. Email info@texprim.ca and describe your request.
We may take proportionate steps to verify your identity before responding to protect your account. Withdrawing consent or deleting necessary information may prevent us from processing an ongoing order. Accounting requirements and other legal grounds for retention continue to apply. If an issue remains unresolved, you may contact Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.
Policy updates
This page displays the policy date and version. A change in purpose requiring your consent will not be implemented solely through a silent policy update. For questions about how this policy applies, contact Texprim management at info@texprim.ca.
